For despite all the inconvenience of travelling about in it, rain means that our water reservoirs will fill up (no thanks to Class-A IDIOTS who denude the hillsides).
On the other hand, landslides will be the disaster en vogue - refer to abovementioned Class-A IDIOTS. And floods. Not that anyone *could* do anything about Manila itself flooding, since it already sits below sea level, thanks much.
On the other hand, the cool weather means my husband can finally sleep well o' nights - last night he hardly tossed about in bed, and for someone who sleeps like a fish fresh-pulled out of water, that's saying a whole lot about his comfort. I can hardly hear anything above the noise of the raindrops on the roofing, but that's what earphones are for if you want to watch TV. Right?
It was a good day today. Picked up Ma's passport from the travel agency. Proceeded to SM Mall of Asia and had a good lunch at Mann Hann; then bought rice and chrysanthemum granules at the Hypermart. ::sigh:: It's a bummer when you get to a mall you haven't visited for a long time, and then when you do get there, you're too worn out to enjoy it, and need to be home asap. Ah, well! The weather was kind to us while traveling, not unleashing the buckets of rain until we got home. For which God and the guardian angels be thanked.
Tomorrow is a blessed stay-at-home day. Time to sort out papers, receipts, coins, and finish writing up an assignment. Go me!
