Event of the Day: So after running around yesterday, it was time to stay home and sort of rest. Followed the story about the huge monster of a crocodile found in Agusan. Husband clucking four ways to Sunday that everyone should leave the poor creature alone now that he's been safely penned. I agree - the croc was probably just out for his morning swim when he wandered into the populated area.

Tried to figure out GetGlue, but I'm not really sure I like it. Yeah, the stickers are cute, but looking for a topic of interest is rather meh. Still, it's somthing fun to while away time, and that's all right with me.

Internet signal was a bit off. It went down for several minutes, then it was back up again. Must be the weather.

Event of the Day: Well. You could say I had a sudden cathartic moment in the car, while on my way from Market!Market! to pick up Ramon at Alphaland. My hubby managed to pull a fast one and sneak off to Guadalupe, while I remained clueless in Market, dutifully texting my whereabouts every time I changed location. I waited what seemed ages for him after picking up some stuff at the supermarket - and after nearly two hours of radio silence, I was trying not to imagine all sorts of things.

See now, if he had told me he was running off, then I would have known he'd be in an area notorious for dead spots. And ever since he saw the last time I lost it after his phone battery died, he's very conscientious about letting me know where he is. When he finally sent me a message to let me know where he was, I was in state of controlled hysteria.

So I walk to the car with the groceries, and once I'm inside, I start to lose it, and mightily. FYI, I have done this before, when Ramon was first in the ICU and I had no idea where I was going next. This time, all the brooding about how best to manage my finances seemed to have come to a head, and I was off like a rocket. Oh, the carrying on! (Yes, I still managed to have the best vision ever, it wasn't so much a tearful event as a shouting one.)

By the time I got to Ramon, I was in much better shape although thoroughly wrung out. Poor clueless man never noticed - or if he did, he preserved a tactful/diplomatic silence about it. I was more than exhausted when we got home; but in a way, somewhat relieved also, that all the bottled up emotions found an outlet. An explosive one, but I suppose it's a sign of better things to come.

All's well now, and a good sleep ought to get me back on the right track.
