Event of the Day: Internet was down for a good while, enough to make me call the helpdesk to confirm that there was no maintenance work going on. We walked through basic troubleshooting, then I was scheduled for a visit from the crew on Sunday morning.
Sunday morning being my usual shopping day, I knew that since I had to be home for the cable guys, it would be better to have meds and groceries over and done with. So Ramon and I toodled off to Mercury Santuario, then Cash and Carry, following our Sunday routine.
Said routine is as follows: brunch, followed by a visit to BookSale. If necessary, visits to Mercury Drug and Japan Home Sale follow. Then the Generics Pharmacy. Then either Ramon goes to see a movie or rambles about, while I get my express 30min massage. Merienda, then groceries last.
Then I come home to find the cable company called up, asking me to check if the connection was working. Apparently they tweaked something on their end, and their lights were on, wanted to see if mine were too. Checked connection with Tabbie (faster than firing up the desktop), and found out that I was connected to cyberspace once more.
Of course, this means that on Sunday, I can enjoy a little extra sleep, since the cable guys won't be coming in...
