Mar. 22nd, 2011 10:11 pmEvent of the Day: Husband's birthday. *happy dance* Dad's follow-up check with Dr. Batungbacal re eyes.
1. Dad's eye that had the laser cleaning is doing fine. That's the left eye. The right eye...not so good, there's still blood visible in the white area. Was told to finish tablets and continue with drops and avoid the golf course.
2. Dropped Dad back at home, after a stop at Mercury Drug. Proceeded to Greenbelt Chapel for the 12.15 Mass for the Feast of St. Joseph. As you can see from the tweet below, of all the prayers possible for St. Joseph (patron of the universal church, good husbands, workers) they had to pick the one where he is patron of a happy death. Which...well. Not quite the kind of souvenir one expects from the church on a *fiesta* day, is it? Lent, yes. All Saints, yes. But the *FIESTA*? IDEK, people.
3. A quiet lunch at Big Buddha. Hubby jonesing for shrimp and Chinese food. As doctor has ordered him to take life as easy as possible, we had crispy noodles and the spicy shrimp and a single rice each; then we read our preferred sections of the newspaper and had long commentaries on the articles and life in general.
4. Coffee for me at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. More reading.
