• meh. see, thing about WinXP is how "plug n play" actually means,
  "plug n play around with installers before actually playing"
  
• with my Linux box, I just plugged in the Bluetooth dongle, and
  after pairing, multiple file transfers are a cinch
  
• with WinXP, have to dig out driver CD, install, pair, then
  multiple file transfers are go. but once installed, things work, at least.
