The balance of nature...I think
Today I paid off the last installment of Ramon's hospital confinement from last year, and there was much rejoicing.
Went to get money out of the ATM at the barangay hall, and the machine swallowed my card but didn't turn up a main menu with which to do transactions. *SIGH* Called bank from barangay office, called again from home, hopefully can retrieve card tomorrow at branch of account.
As Ramon pointed out, it was a merciful thing indeed that the mean ATM was in the village, and not in one of the malls that we frequent. I got a nap out of the afternoon, after a morning filled with running Dad's laundry and Ma's physio (note to self: get something cute and girly for the PT whose 24th birthday will be on December 1 and is a total darling).
Life is good. *grin*

Currently, it has the fan blasting on it, and no problems yet. But I'm moving my files off the hard drive in a few minutes; fortunately, not many of those.
Also - I wondered aloud if it was time to replace this unit, and suddenly unit is *very* well-behaved. *chuckle* Any correlation, I wonder...
