M.I.A - one little kitten named Ziggy
Ziggy is one of my rescue kittens. One of the brothers of our late Primus kitten. He went out with all the rest of the kitten batch last night - and didn't come home.
I hope he can find his way back; we're going to try and look outside in the early evening tonight when cats come out of hiding. I have no idea which direction he's taken, and prayers to St. Anthony have been duly addressed. I know a missing kitten may not be that important in the grand scheme of things, but I hand-raised him, and the thought of him on his own when all he's known is love and a steady food supply...*blinks back tears*
It hurts - I spent the entire night crying, for lack of anything constructive to do. I just kept thinking of all the times I saw him throughout yesterday and the waterworks would start. *snif*
Well, if he comes back, he comes back. If we find him, we find him. Need to check out the village pound, maybe someone turned him in? And if all else fails, I hope someone takes him in and loves him, our little darling.
