Am sitting in the office space with the lights out, just the glow from
the laptop monitor to light up the room.
The fan is on low, even though it's raining outside - need to
circulate the air. It's been awfully warm all day, and the rain is
nice and steady. I see from Twitter that the strongest part of the
downpour has brought white-out conditions to Ortigas, so it's got a
way to travel before hitting Makati.
Kittens are rampaging in the office, much to the confusion of poor
Trixie, who considers the space her personal fiefdom. The wee ones
want to be within reach of "Marmar", apparently, after having been
left to sleep in the kitchen last night. Q-bie The Littlest Kitten
has an improviing eye, and a full recovery is expected within the
week.
Have yet to put away the clean laundry.
Have an appointment with our cemetery caretaker on Sunday. This means
a possible trip to Central Market for goodies after I hand over the
caretaker's fees. *bounce* Must start calculating what I need,
assuming weather moves in my favor.
WaterCare comes to the house tomorrow to check up our filtration
system. Hopefully we will get a working UV lamp out of the process.
Not much else of note during the day - oh, except the installation of
KDE over my Linux Mint, and the hours I spent wading through Google
information to find the instructions to make the internet connections
work. Huzzah!
