Things I've put aside
The thought popped into my head a while back, while I was reading
through feeds, of things I've put "on the back burner" and that I now
wish I could make time for. Or at least, that I had uninterrupted
time for. Yes, it would mean giving up a chunk of online time, but on
the other hand, getting some of these things finished would be a
soul-satisfying thing.
** I want to knit something. Leg-warmers, maybe, or another pair of
socks. Reading knitting blogs reminds me how much I miss it.
** I want to finish the video library reorganization that I started.
** I want to finish at least one slideshow of vacation pictures -
starting with the 2006 Switzerland vacation.
** I want to write fanfic again - delay isn't too bad here, my well of
inspiration appears to have dried up for the moment.
** I want to (and ought to) organize my billing statements and
receipts. Ye gods, I used to be so conscientious with this, what
happened?
There's a whole other bunch of things, but these came to mind first.
Sometimes when I think about it, the idea of giving up all my
involvement in organizations seems like a good idea. I always find
myself pushing those assignments to the back of the line - better to
avoid them altogether.
