Ye gods, the last day of a full week.

• Board meeting at the WOMFI office; hung out at Starbucks, having
  arrived early for that express purpose.


• Received an SMS from the secretary saying she was stuck in traffic
  on the SLEX - a chemical truck had an accident, thus blocking 99% of
  all northbound traffic.


• Good thing the owner of our office space is also one of the Board
  members, so the office opened on time anyway. As the various Board
  members arrived, there was much discussion about a variety of topics,
  including the upcoming elections; said discussions being conducted in
  a civil manner among all concerned. We may not agree on who should be
  president this go-round, but we are pretty much agreed on who should
  NOT be occupying the position.


• I have been giving a writing assignment out of this meeting. Once
  the Antipolo trip is done with, I can sit down properly and string
  words together for that.


• Left the meeting as soon as it was adjourned; picked up Ramon,
  headed home.


• Life as usual: feed cats, nap, rip CDs and transfer them, sort
  digital files and burn archive discs.
