[Recap Post] April 25, 2010/Sunday

Uh-huh. Because there is a part of me that won't rest until I have
all my notes transcribed and posted, here is the first of several
recap posts from The Week of Major Busy-ness, in which I was out of
the house every day starting Sunday:

  • Changed the first stop on our usual Sunday morning routing to
Petron Dasma instead of straight to Mercury Santuario. Scarlett
Avanza needed gas and air, in prep for the trip to Antipolo, postponed
    from the 21st.

  • Mercury Drug Santuario was the next stop, where prescriptions were
filled. Did a Foursquare check-in; yes, I caved, now hush y'all.
    *grin*

  • Arrived at Cash and Carry, where the first order of business was
to get ourselves over to Savory Chicken and gorge on the crab foo yong
and liempo chow mein. FOUR CUPS OF RICE WERE CONSUMED, the crab foo
yong will do that to you. Upside: you may end up eating the lightest
dinner on record as a result, and never feel the need for a midnight
    snack. *grin*

  • Up to Generics Pharmacy, where the pioglitazone was out of stock.
Filled whatever prescriptions could be filled, at a good price.

  • Down to Mercury Drug, where I was asked for my authorization
letter (for the senior citizen discount) and produced the senior
citizen himself. This had the effect of making the pharmacist more
polite than he had been formerly - which I will put down to a lack of
    breakfast rather than bad manners.

  • CD-R King to look at MP3/4/5 (there is an MP5 format? who knew?)
players and speculate on what it would be like to own one. Also, to
try and figure out why I would even *need* one at this point in my
    life.

  • Decided that it would be better to get a half-body massage at the
blind massage place instead of leading my brains down the road to
perdition. *grin* It was worth it, too, left them feeling like a new
    creature.

  • 18 Days Coffee next, for the usual iced coffee and a sweet. Don't
remember now if I had a sweet thing to go with the coffee, though.
    *wrinkles nose*

  • Groceries, as usual.

  • Return home, to heat beyond bearing and a developing headache as a
result. Otherwise, life as usual. Got online, didn't stay on long,
just enought to read mail, make notes on what to respond to, check any
Twitter replies and respond to those. Was sleepy!

I have been thinking of getting an mp3 player recently too, to listen to Japanese files. I have the creative zen but it seems too bulky to carry around. I have the cel, but I'm afraid of losing battery. Maybe you could use it to listen to foreign languages too.
