It's barely past ten and I'm sleepy
I must be more tired than I thought. No nap today - an early start to
buy Ramon's medicines, and Ma's vitamin supplements, do the groceries.
Had a 30-minute upper-body massage for less than the price of a scalp
massage at the day spa (where they miss me, no doubt), bought a new
pitcher, a tray to organize various small condiment bottles in the
kitchen, a reload card for my Smart Bro prepaid.
Went to look at various new mobile phones today. It's true - actually
handling the unit of your desire can influence your eventual decision
to buy. I was thinking of getting a QWERTY keypad phone at first.
Then I saw this really plain unit that looks like a mini-calculator
and does calls and text and little else. Realized that my PLDT
Landline Plus SIM is good for talk and text and little else; so far it
sounds like a perfect match. My original plan was to migrate my main
Smart SIM into the new phone, and the PLDT Landline Plus SIM into the
LG Cookie. Which would have been major overkill, I know, but I didn't
see any way around it.
But if I got that Cherry Mobile P1 for the PLDT Landline Plus, that
has all the potential for a match made in heaven, as I said earlier.
Now I need to cull some reviews about that unit. It's a steal at
Php999 (probably around 1.1K plus taxes), so it would be nice on the
wallet as well. Will just have to see how it goes. Generally,
sleeping on a decision also has a great deal of influence on one's
eventual decision to buy.
And now, to see how far I get in catching up on LiveJournal, before I
call it quits and hit the sack.

The LG Cookie I have for my main mobile number has the features you mentioned, though I've yet to send a business card out on that phone. I need a simpler phone for my PLDT Landline Plus SIM, because it's pretty much limited to talk more than anything else.

I'm intrigued by the Cherry cel with the tv, though.

Haven't seen how the TV function works on the Cherry, but I would think it uses up the battery pretty quickly.
