Holy Thursday aka April Fool's Day
Talk about your strange synchronicity, eh? My day was calm and quiet,
I hope yours was the same. In keeping with my resolution to declutter
various aspects of my life, I took deleted several pictures from my
DeviantArt account and left about five in the gallery. See, I started
adding pictures, but then I got miffed with the interface wanting this
and that detail entered in; and being a lazy dork, I couldn't see why
I was subjecting myself to this process when I could cross-post quick
and easy via Gmail to three photo blog accounts. So basically I'm
keeping the DeviantArt account to keep up with others, but not to post
to. One less thing to maintain, yes!
Finished a new chapter for Kuruda Return this morning. It is
now on hold before I go through it and edit, after which I will post
it up to FF.net and MM.org.
No naps today. A lot of reading and writing and much fun in the doing
of both. Even managed to knit, which makes me a happy camper!
Tweaked settings on the laptop, and the world looks better.
Tomorrow will be a day of meditation, as it will be Good Friday - a
day that I generally spend talking to God on paper. I generally find
it a more fruitful exercise than sitting in church listening to
dramatic readings of The Seven Last Words, since writing usually
clarifies what it is that I am really asking God to do for me, and how
much of the work I can do to help myself. I have known certain
ambitions to have made a sea change after a quiet session tapping my
thoughts out. *grin*
I trust that the season of Easter, whether you celebrate it or not,
will be a time of renewal and refreshment for both body and soul for
all those on my friends list.
p.s. I consider the receiving of chocolate to go a long way in the
renewal of one's spirits, IMHO.
