Monday, Monday...whatcha gonna do
Let's see. I guess I'll bullet-point stuff, and see what happens next.
**Was going through my drabbles/plot bunnies folder, and managed to
give an old drabble a conclusion. So I went through it from the
start, tidying up as I went along, and then decided to post it.
Disclaimer reads that I make no excuses at all for the mush and
over-the-top style; I had too much fun in the writing of it! *grin*
And I did have so much fun writing it - it involved the darling of the
series (well, pretty much so, given how we fangirls were universal in
adoration over him) and my own original character. It was,
unfortunately, a doomed romance; and that story is the first and last
I made for that pairing until I gifted my OC's hand to my other
particular favorite in the anime. *chuckle*
**Re-arranged my office equipment for the umpteenth time. In the
process, I managed to eliminate the need for two extension cords, and
there is much rejoicing. Apparently the equipment appears to be much
happier in the new set-up, so that should help the writing and such
come along. Used the opportunity created by moving stuff around to
give all surfaces a thorough dusting - which was fine for the
tabletops, but not so happy-making for my hands. Oh, the copious
amounts of soap and water needed to get them clean again!
**Dad went and got the military gate pass decals for the cars. Had to
help him fill up the form - which was just a matter of copying the
information from last year's form. Good thing he didn't need to go to
Camp Aguinaldo for them like before, just to Villamor, which is heaps
closer and doesn't require traveling through EDSA.
(AUGH. I think I have an eyelash scraping over my eye or something?
It feels scratchy. *runs off to flush with saline solution*)
(Back again. Whatever it was, it's gone now, thank God.)
**Updated photo blogs! In the process, discovered that fanfic blogs
were posting to photo blogs - erm, no. So I looked up the settings
for autoposting, tweaked them, and now I need not worry about lemon
fics finding their way into my photo blogs, oye.
**Of course, in order to update the photo blogs, one had to fix the
pictures - so I learned how to work GIMP and Picasa together for best
results. Discovered that Gmail makes a pretty nifty cross-posting
client (and now I realize that I should look at my Dreamwidth account
and tweak it a little bit), which makes me happy.
**Sleepy now. Will have to look for Mocha-cat and bring him inside if
he's in the mood for it. (ETA: He was sitting on the gate post,
enjoying the lovely cool breezes outside. Put on his "Awww, Mama, do
I have to?" face, but submitted with good grace. He knows he'll be
out again by five tomorrow morning. *chuckle*)
**So now, I can go to bed with a clear conscience. I may probably
write another entry for another blog, but we'll see about that.
Tomorrow I go to the post office and the bank, and maybe it will rain,
which would be a good thing. :)
