mood = satisfied

Typing this on the netbook from my new workplace in the kitchen. This
morning I read that Posterous has implemented its own form of an LJ-cut
feature, so I'm going to try it out in this e-mail post.

#more

So if this works out, I will have entries behind cuts on Dreamwidth,
LiveJournal and Posterous. Vox and Wordpress don't do cuts, but since I
don't point anyone there, it ought not to matter.

Ellen is a replay, so I'm not really paying attention to the TV - though Ma
is enjoying herself, and that's what matters. She had her physical therapy
session today, and both PT and I are happy to note that her condition is
vastly improved from it was when she first started. She's more comfortable
when she moves now, and has more mobility in her hip. So this is all good.

Today was mostly for updates:
- downloaded the last few episodes of the Gokinjo Monogatari anime, so
that's another complete series under my belt
- started downloading Spartacus: Blood and Sand, just to see what everyone's
raving about
- added a few paragraphs to my Shadow Skill fanfic, and intend to add a few
more before I close up for the night
- updated my Goodreads page
- did a little file maintenance

Today was also for Ma's laundry while the PT session was going on.

I have an idea for another blog post, but since Tuesday nights are usually
TV home makeover program nights, it's not likely to get written till
tomorrow...no, wait. I have to go out tomorrow to pay a bill, then pick up
some glucosamine for Ma at Greenbelt. Well, maybe it will get written in
the afternoon, if I manage to make some notes while I'm out.

Basically, that was my day today. Got a FourSquare account, will try it out
tomorrow since I will actually be in a position to use it. More news when
it happens. :)

Llama and I send birthday wishes to your hubby.

As for FFnet readers, don't they want lemons or is that the MediaMiner crowd?

Consider the birthday wishes relayed, with many thanks from the celebrant. :)

FF.net is the one that keeps away from anything remotely lemon in nature. But they have the rating for lemon stuff up "for reference purposes only". Eh?

MediaMiner requires that lemon fics be classified as Hentai and one other genre, and warnings in every chapter summary. Tedious, but that's what cut-n-paste is for. It also ensures that I post multi-chaptered fics (lemon or otherwise) in the morning when I have a clear head.

:)
