Evening update

I got a review for one of my Slam Dunk fics that I put up. Overall
positive, didn't find the characters in character, though. *shrug* Well,
it's all a matter of perception, and when I checked her style, it's somewhat
more gritty than mine. Me, I couldn't write anything dark in a room with
the lights off, so... But my wee creation got noticed, and that's always a
good thing for it. *happy*

Managed to rest my eyes from the computer for an hour or two, which was a
good thing, both for my eyes and the computer. Got myself started on a
bunch of presentation slides to be used for a marketing kit, and have sent
the first draft to the person who will be presenting. A sort of "here, look
this over and see if I'm going in the right direction with it". Later I'll
go out and air myself, then have a shower, then get back to working on that
Shadow Skill fic.

Need to put ice cubes in this water before I drink any more of it. The
weather, mercifully, has cooled down some. I saw on the local news how it
actually rained in Bicol, so maybe, just maybe, things will work out for the
farmers, and the drought won't last much longer.

Not much more to say, so I'll sign off here. Back tomorrow with more
updates - if not by post, then by Twitter, at least on Livejournal. Ciao!
