The cat is out of the car!
Breaking news: After having gone missing since Sunday night, and all but declared MIA, our Mocha-cat is now back in circulation. The poor sweetheart managed to get himself locked in the Innova all this time (and if that doesn't tell you about how home-bound we are, that we never opened the car *once* in all that time, I just don't know...)! It was only this morning, when Rose was wiping down the back windows, that Mocha popped up and smooshed his face against the glass.
So I was duly summoned, I went dashing out with the car key, scooped up the cat, who was all: O HAI DERE I CAN HAZ FUD NAO PLS? and didn't seem in the least bit fazed by his experience. Only then did I remember that we went through a similar experience when he was younger, and got locked into our old Revo. *dies*
Now all is well, Ma is happy to be back, and I have to light candles to San Antonio de Padua (patron saint for finding the lost) tomorrow by way of thanks. Luckily, Ramon and I have to go to Santuario to buy one of his meds. Maybe deposit coins, too, not so sure about that.
Non sequitur: Some time ago I saw a plug for a Six Apart service called TypePad Micro. The service "...falls into the gap between longer blog entries and teeny Twitter posts." It lets you post videos, audio, photos, links; you can follow other users and reblog (blog equivalent of retweet?) their posts. I'm not sure I understand the need for such a market niche? One could just as easily use a regular blog for shorter posts; the popular services do allow videos, audio, photos and links - or you could do a workaround by linking to your source material. *scratches head*
