Tried to call Mocha-cat into the house, but apparently he wants to play in the light rain after spending most of the day in the house napping. *chuckle* Guess I'll just have to wait up for him.

Good day today. Started with the maintenance crew coming in early, and now we've got clean roofing over the lanai and laundry area, and a fresh coat of paint on the front gutters.

Tidied up around the office area, and fixed up another box of stuff for the missions. Also, did some wiping down and serious dusting - the kind that needs plastic disposable gloves. Worked up a sweat, aggravated my prickly heat just a little bit; was then able to shower off the gunk before dinner. (On top of the shower I had before lunch, yay humidity!)

Caught up with all the online stuff, which is good, as that is what eats my time of a morning. Before that, gave my approval to the print run of the newsletter published by the social organization that I'm a part of. So I should be having something to mail off to my "literary godfather" in a short time (or when the postal service deigns to deliver my copies).

Termite protection people called up, there's going to be an inspection tomorrow. Ok, we'll be expecting them.

I was reviewing some of my old fanfic from ages ago; some of them might have a paragraph or two added in the near future. Feels good to be writing again, that's for sure.

Tonight is The Amazing Race, and while waiting, I'm watching an old CSI episode, one where Catherine and Nic are racing souped-up vehicles down the desert and loving it. They look so cute having fun in the line of duty. *grin*
