it would look a darn sight better right ways up! I thought I rotated the picture, but alas, it was for viewing only, not really for sending!

i've had it since high school, poor battered thing. :) what i want to do is have it sanded down and given a new coat of stain and varnish...someday!

Mama commissioned it for me from my cousin's woodworking shop, when I started high school. Those were the days when you could get properly seasoned narra wood - the days when people thought the mountains would always be green with trees and not over-harvested.

Like all hardwood furniture, it is HEAVY, and we loves it.
