AC in Motown

Anderson Cooper has come to town and a Detroit city councilwoman is in a snit because he's reporting from the suburbs and not the city itself. She also raised a stink because Jay Leno was doing free concerts in the burbs and not downtown.

Heavens, the things people can think of to throw hissy-fits about! *shakes head with a smile*

I suppose if AC had skipped Detroit (though hardly likely, given its role in the US economy) and Leno charged for his concerts (burbs or downtown), she would have found something to be really obnoxious about.
