Drive-by post :)

All I've got to report for the past couple of days is bringing Ma to the reflexologist, the meeting I had with the Kampana group, and running Dad's laundry through the machine. Oh, also, creating balls out of the skein of acrylic yarn I bought from Craft World last year; hopefully one of them will be enough for my next shawl/scarf project.

The meeting went swimmingly, it was a reunion with good friends, business was dispatched with the alacrity that comes with minds that meet; and at Starbucks, Greenbelt 3 for a change. Got home early, too, so that was nice.

I have a Friday the 13th deadline for the newsletter. @.@ Ah well, I have the salient points outlined already, so it's just a matter of getting the writing done.

Brought Ma for a long-awaited reflexology session, which she enjoyed muchly. My feet had all sorts of crunchy bits worked out of them - in fact, they are still a little sore, but otherwise, happy as well.

And that's about it. Hoping to catch Watchmen tomorrow, after meeting with the WOMFI group in the morning. Dad is taking the non-color-coded car, so Ramon and I are going to test the validity of the new ordinance in Makati that allows color-coded cars to travel in the central business district if there's a senior citizen holding a valid Blue Card riding in the car. (But for the love of the Lord, we're only going to cross EDSA to get to Park Square One, please let's not feed the hungry law enforcers...)

That's about it. Feel like tapping out a drabble or two now, to purge the ideas from my head. Catch you all whenever! :)

Any more Lakers socks planned?

Socks, yes. *grin* But not in that particular color combination for a very long while!

Summer heat is blanketing the city. How's your weather doing?

:)

Winter's last grasp has finally loosened. It has warmed up and brought lots of rain, causing local flooding.
