On the first meme of Christmas...
Christmas Meme
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Both. Wrapping paper for special folk, gift bags for "duty presents".
2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial. Tropical weather doesn't suit real trees for very long.
3. When do you put up the tree? Usually after the first Sunday of Advent.
4. When do you take the tree down? The day after the Feast of the Epiphany.
5. Do you like eggnog? Have never tried it.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? A toy slide projector.
7. Hardest person to buy for? Dad
8. Easiest person to buy for? Mom
9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes - the figurines are carved from olive wood, a souvenir from parentals' trip to Israel.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Both. Mail to local residents and relatives with no e-mail. E-mail to those who know what the internet is for. :)
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Never had a worst gift that I can remember. I tend to go all "vie en rose" during Christmas.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer. And Die Hard.
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? In October, when the clearance sales start and the carols fill the department stores.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes - usually to charity!
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Mama's fruit salad. No one does fruit salad like my Mama. ::nods::
16. Lights on the tree? Yes! And out on the front porch, too.
17. Favorite Christmas song? The Ray Conniff Singers Christmas Medley, without which it is not really Christmas time.
18.Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay home. Everyone else is out traveling, so it's nice and peaceful!
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? Yup, thanks to "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer".
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Star.
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? No one is up on Christmas Eve anymore, we old fogies are sleeping! So Christmas morning - which is my birthday as well.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? The crowds at the malls; but it only annoys me when I have to shop in a crowd. If I get to the mall early enough, it's not so bad.
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? Ornament theme - balls. In all the available colors.
24. Favorite for Christmas Dinner? Roast chicken!
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? A healthy family, a peaceful holiday season. Optional - time at the spa after!

And that's not even including the best use of a PC, EVER. ::ebil grin:: I mean, for a couple whose first movie together was First Blood? Ahahaha, perfect. I think we saw this film over Christmas, which seals the deal.
