The Day In Bullet Points
- check prep: Watercare, Citibank credit cards
- called Dr. Gatmaitan to cancel Ma's Monday appointment
- DV ATM - reimburse Php6K, withdraw Php15K
- Barangay Office - Ramon to get new grocery discount booklet on Tuesday
- Plaza San Antonio - Ramon gets PhilStar, I deposit Php15K to cover credit card checks
- Compuserve - get Allan's advice re laptop white screen; he suggests getting external monitor rather than repairing current screen as it is cheaper and provides better viewing
- canvass Villman, Asianic, one other store for monitor pricing (maybe should have gone to Compex, but for some reason I don't really like them?) and figure on getting an AOC 17" for Php7K
- SM Makati Prestige Lounge - drop off Ramon while I trot about the appliance center and department store
- SM Department Store - buy plastic storage units for clothes cabinet and plastic drawers to replace cubbyhole system of storage; have them brought to the Avanza (!) and collect Ramon for lunch
- Max's - lunch=cream of mushroom soup+Fiesta Plate+bottomless Mirinda. YUM.
- SM Department Store - buy belts and buckles to alternate with much-abused leather belt; also buy 3-for-Php100 men's shorts, six sets, for Christmas giveaways.
- SM Supermarket - following after Ramon, but don't see him inside; instead purchase 3-in-1 coffee mix for the maids, and cinnamon. Find Ramon in the concourse, on the bench in front of the fruit shake stand, as agreed earlier.
- Stuff goods in the car. Go back down to Park Square to finalize purchase of external monitor.
- Make detour to CD-R King for a MicroSD card, 4GB.
- Make Asianic and BPI Mastercard happy by dint of purchasing external monitor. Naturally, unit is tested before sale is concluded.
- Home - bring in all the swag, and proceed to turn room inside out with assistance of maids. Poke holes in fingers with twist tie while fixing up stray items.
End result = tired and aching and dusty, but extremely satisfied at new neater image of bedroom. Shower has taken care of the grime issue, and now I can go online in peace. Whee!
