On this day in 2006, Ramon walked into the Makati Medical Center in the middle of his first heart attack.

It's been two years since I sent up a cry to God to help me through; for strength to deal, to hang on, to let go, to provide the money for the hospital bills and doctor's fees and medical bills.

Today, by God's grace, my husband lives. And there are no words...there will never be words, to describe the depth of my gratitude for such a gift.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me...

Many, many prayers for a swift recovery. I love you and by extension your family very much and I'm sorry this has befallen your husband but grateful that he survived it.

Let's see...it's the 17th now, where I live, so in a little while Ramon is going in for his monthly check-up. The doctor, bless him, is happy to see that his patient has now achieved optimum weight for his condition - as opposed to the near-skeleton that walked out of the hospital the first time we met.
