11:49 if i do install xubuntu on the PC laptop, that's two computers working on double systems. PC-xubuntu different flava from PPC-xubuntu.

12:38 am leaning more into putting xubuntu on the PC and putting the iBook into semi-retirement. PC-xubuntu is updated more regularly, i think.
12:39 on the other hand, for graphic work, nothing beats a Mac, even if it *is* and iBook.

22:26 installed ScribeFire blogging extension. have to wait 21 minutes for xubuntu download to finish before using, though.
22:58 xubuntu ISO and wubi downloaded. ::glee:: now to restart firefox and road test scribefire.
23:36 uninstalled ScribeFire. it looked pretty in theory, but then it wouldn't play nicely with the browser.
