Sunday Chez Moi
I spent the day at home, as anyone should that is trying to recover from minor health issues. In this case, the post-nasal drip that I've been mentioning for the past couple of entries. Am pleased to report that I've managed to bring things under control, and will be fit enough to get out to SM Makati or Megamall to pay a bill (and check out a few of the shops as well).
Key to my recovery were my knitting, and being able to clear out the files on the DVR. As my Twitter post will show, I not only managed to burn out the files recorded from last week, but also programmed this coming week's shows. Go me!
I sorted through the wad of receipts that I accumulated over the past two or three weeks, and tomorrow I should start entering the amounts into the expense log. Other paper-pushing tasks for the week include:
- sorting and filing Dad's papers
- reconciling my bank statement
- phone paying the telephone bill and
- sorting through my own papers
Oh, there's the small matter of sticking the registration stickers onto the Innova. Dad likes to keep the old stickers from *three years ago* stuck on the windshield; I like to keep only the current stickers on the car. It certainly makes for a clearer view, is all I'm saying.
The clean laundry has been put away, and the bed has new linens, which is lovely to sleep on. The cats think so too. ::grin::
I managed to finish some feather-light reading, in the form of a Harlequin Mills&Boon. There's another one hanging about, and I'll probably start on that later, once I've got this post up. (Which reminds me that I've got some Treo posts to put up on the InsaneJournal, just to keep the account alive.)
Huh. There are pictures from the Palm that should be made presentable - another something to do for the week. So far, so good. I've got knitting in the works, and that always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. There's a bit of extra money coming into my life next month - maybe I can invest in one or two more circular needles, if my conscience lets me get away with it. We'll see.
Now to go sift through online patterns for the next project, once I'm through with this cushion cover. Catch you when I catch you!
