I loves me my cough syrup, I do
Tapping out another blog entry. Still in the grip of post-nasal drip, but it's manageable now that I've finished the remainder of the Robitussin and started a bottle of Tuseran. So since this is cold induced rather than allergic, I have about three or four more days of (mild) discomfort to handle.
Good day today. Despite feeling like warmed-over food, I managed to make an appearance at the Women of Malolos meeting; I even managed to look decent while I was at it. Handed over the article that I managed to bang out last night, and hopefully people will like what I wrote when it gets published.
Ramon and I popped into Max's at Megamall after the meeting. We had a nice lunch, even if I was still feeling like something warmed-over. Afterwards, we hobbled (since Ramon's bum knee was having a hissy-fit) over to the Cyberzone so that we could fit Ramon's N70 with a new housing. It looks rather spiffy now, black and sleek and with a readable number pad again. ::smile::
Back to Building A, where the car was parked, and on to our usual pilgrimage spots: BookSale for Ramon, Craft World and the DMC store for me. Bought two more skeins of Red Heart yarn, with colorways that have yet to be seen in Dreams. Really pretty stuff...someday I'll find the right projects for them and there will be either major knitting or major crocheting. ::grin::
Bought myself three books in BookSale (like you knew I would), and have added them to the books-in-waiting cabinet. Reading has always been my favorite convalescent occupation (aside from sleeping, of course), after all.
That about does it for today's report. More news tomorrow - am thinking of staying home, the better to nurse myself. On the other hand, I did want to check out Surplus Shop at Megamall. Argh. We'll see.
