11:59 so of course after I log on, it's time for lunch!
13:09 finished lunch. tweaking Ubuntu KDE desktop and sipping coffee.
16:03 learned how to use aptitude, and remembered basic command-line commands. re-installed ubuntu, am back to gnome.
16:04 researching if i can upgrade to a higher version of ubuntu from current 6.06 - lots of fine print involved, yo.
16:04 but linux runs like speedy gonzales racing the roadrunner at this level, so it's good for now. :)
18:42 uh-hm? Tiger OSX now seems a bit anemic after having played with ubuntu? need to do fresh install of Ubuntu latest version for PPC...
