08:35 borked my iBook setup yesterday. took less than an hour to re-install OSX to pristine factory settings.
08:36 this morning, downloaded and configured Firefox and multitude of extensions. iBook now runs better than it was yesterday. :)
09:03 ye gods, reconfiguring from a clean slate is a very *distracting* procedure. so many shiny things to replace older apps!
10:58 ok. have pretty much tweaked Firefox to my liking. e-mails have been read, feeds will have to wait.
10:59 FastDial set up nicely, too. I just keep listing things I'd like to do so I can get to them after catching up with things.
16:14 ran monolingual and got rid of 1.2GB worth of unwanted languages. Whoa.

20:34 this business of having to go back and rebuild iBook from factory settings wasn't so bad. i got rid of junk and iBook runs like new!

21:34 Phew! restored Palm Desktop and didn't erase a thing on the handheld during the HotSync. ::relief::
