• 08:49 soup from leftover chicken in the slow cooker, to be ready by lunch. steamed bratwurst and scrambled eggs for brekkie, yum!

• 08:52 oh, for crying out loud...Dad is grumping about his health four ways to Sunday. guess who's going to drive him to doctors today?

• 13:19 survived bringing dad to the doctors. he is off coffee, tea, alcohol, and all the usual stuff for hypertensives. he wants us to do same.
