say AGAIN?

According to a link on [livejournal.com profile] cleolinda's blog, Anne Rice is planning to do one last novel involving Lestat, Talamasca, and redemption; set within a Christian framework and affirming Rice's belief in Christ.

Ohhh...kay. The operative phrase in Cleo's quote is, "The novel, if ever written..."

Sorry, that was very asshole of me. I was in a freaky bad mood this morning.

Still, blech.

Given the firestorm that erupted after the publication of her last book, one would think she'd be a bit more cautious about the subject of a new book. I'm sure there are those who would rather their fond memories of Lestat & Co. not be borked beyond all recognition.

I gave up after Armand's book. I couldn't even handle her Witching Hour books. Even I can only handle so much porn. If she's found Jesus and all that, she should just write a new set of different stories, not try to mutate her old ones. I totally agree.

Memnoch the Devil did kinda foreshadow this book. Especially in the scene where Lestat met God.

==|||| let's hope it NEVER gets written.

Wasn't she a tad discouraged by the returns she got from her last novel?

Apparently not. I'm with you in hoping it doesn't get written, though. The poor characters!
