So here I am, chillin' out
I've just had a hot shower to wash the grime of a day trip off me, and now am sitting in the dark surrounded by three cats happily sleeping. I feel both clean and tired, and not a little blue - hormones again.
Good things have happened since I last blogged, bringing a lot of busyness in its wake. Said state of busy thus means there's not much by way of mental energy when I get around to doing the things that really matter to me. Such a situation tends to throw up a cloud over my horizon - but not to worry, it's more of a little cotton puff thing rather than a dark thunderhead.
This is one of those days where I feel just a little put-upon. Here I am, with able-bodied people around me, and yet the little things they could have done, they still expect me to do. ::sigh:: ::shakes self:: Won't dwell too much on that, though, since there's not much I can do to change things.
::smile:: I think the cats have picked up on my mood. Suddenly they're all wanting to be stroked and cooed at and told that they're pretty - I guess they must have missed me while I was out. Guess I better indulge them.
