Thank you, Lord!

Bad news: Ramon's blood sugar drops to hypoglycemia level at 12 midnight.

Good news: Consult bookmarked page on hypoglycemia and thus am able to calmly administer first aid.

Better news: Ramon responds to first aid and manages to have breakfast on his own power. Plus - am able to make up for lost sleep!

Now...to persuade hubby that we should pay a visit to the ER so that they can see if he needs better treatment than I already gave him.

Hubby recovered quickly enough from a second bout with hypoglycemia - with even worse readings than this one. Amazing what a little direct-injection glucose will do for a man, within an hour!

A case of all's well that ends well, thank God. Have made sure the man took a snack before bedtime, and will check his glucose before I turn in...and then make him drink some more liquid sugar if necessary.
