You know you're delirous over someone when...
Boy...this business of adjusting to a new maid is more tiring than I thought.
I slept the sleep of the righteous this afternoon - so sound that not even rampaging elephants could have woken me up. In the middle of this refreshing episode, I had a very *vivid* dream of myself having a conversation with Anderson Cooper. It was like being in a movie and watching the movie at the same time. Not HD quality, or even IMAX, just your basic TV video footage.
Anyway. The setting was some sort of corporate party; awards/Christmas combined, and AC and I had retired to a balcony to catch some fresh air (so it must have been a mild winter or something...). There was wine and the usual pleasantries - somehow I was a guest of the network. We were talking about writing, adventures in media, and the part I remember best was confessing to AC that I'd actually written fanfiction about him. Then hastily assuring him I'd never posted it online.
Now here's where you know the whole scenario has a snowball's chance in hell of happening - AC actually liked the idea and asked to see copies of the stuff. ::dies:: I think I had about 30 seconds of dreamtime mortification before my husband returned from a short trip outside, thereby waking me up.
::shakes head::
Man, that was something else. Strange, but fun. Which makes it a good thing, yes?
^.^
