Taking life easy
After the flurry of events earlier this week, today was another quiet day where I managed to get some things out of the "to do" column and into the "done" column:
- reconstructed the DVR recording schedule
- updated the "to do" list
- updated the ensaimada order list (just two more batches to go, yayz)
- put new linens on the bed
- rescheduled dental appointment
I was pouting a little bit as I told my hubby that here's our anniversary on the 18th, and all I have scheduled is my semestral dental appointment. He just laughed and said to wing it...it's a given that we're going to have lunch somewhere that is not fast food nor hideously expensive, though. Though Ramon is right. It's being together that matters most - all the rest is just icing on the cake.
He's off to a Scrabble tournament tomorrow, and has packed all his medicines like a good boy. I told him I'd pick him up; the tournament is at Mall of Asia, and there is no chance I could get bored if I toddle about the place for at least two hours before he tells me he's ready to go.
Busy day at the village clubhouse:
- Village-sponsored seminar for the maids from 8:00AM - 12NN
- Barangay distribution of Christmas allowance to senior citizens from 9:00AM - 12NN, 1:00 - 3:00PM
No doubt Dad will want to check out the new ATM machine that's been installed. ChinaBank, if I'm not mistaken; don't know if BPI will put up another one, given that there's a full bank at Santuario with two machines already.
It just turned 10PM. Time to wash up and see about writing up another post for one of my other blogs. Cheers!
