Will you look at this?

I've managed to get through household chores, LJ-Friends, e-mail and feeds...and it's only 7.15PM? Whoa!

Let's see what I got done:
- fixed the day bed with Christmas linens
- fixed our bed with new linens
- ran a literal *mountain* of laundry through the machine, and God sent me lots of sunshine too! :)
- cooked lunch: a concoction of pasta, ground beef, and cream of mushroom soup
- rearranged some of the storage bins in our room, and vacuumed the floor while I was at it
- confirmed with the Watercare people that they would be arriving on Dec-26 (tip envelopes!)
- genset warmup accomplished
- batch 2 of DVR recordings edited
- taped up the three filled donation boxes for the Salesian Missions. One more to go!
- decorated the bitty-bit tree
- put up the Christmas decor storage boxes

OK, now I know why my back was protesting a while back. All that moving of stuff about without a proper muscle warmup. ::nods::

AC360 this morning was fun! It must be the holiday spirit - or someone at home keeping the bed warm. ::ebil grin:: Or both. I mean, nothing like being one's nearest and dearest over the holidays. They ran the clip of Anderson when he appeared on "What's My Line?" as a tweener; and after the news of Alex Trebek's heart attack was announced, of course Gary Tuchman had to mention Anderson's appearance on Celebrity Jeopardy. Much squee was heard in our house, in-between checking the progress of the cooking of lunch. Hee!

The show blog has suddenly erupted into life, which could mean that everyone was waiting for Anderson to settle down from flitting all over the place for Planet in Peril and CNN Heroes, not to mention management letting go of seven producers in one sweep. Anderson, bless him, publicly resolved to blog at least once a day - let's see how well this goes. Plus, he's doing a New Year special out of Times Square - which I am not sure will be shown on CNN International, but one can always hope.

So now that I'm done with online stuff and chores, I guess it's going to be TV night - Extreme Makeover:Home Edition is on, and that's one of my favorite shows. I might catch an episode I didn't see before. Catch you when I catch you, then!

It sounds like you had a lovely and wonderful day.

I cry every time I watch extreme makeover-home edition. Good tears.

*hugs* have a good night.
