Headache
::wince::
Managed to finish a bunch of stuff, enough to make it feasible to visit LJ_Land without guilt pangs. Some of these accomplishments include:
- posting up various cash receipts into ledger cards
- editing all the recordings in the DVR
- reconciling bank statement
- review papers in the "please file me soon" tray
- warm up genset
- refill hubby's prescriptions
- bought groceries
Now I have the headache that signals the impending start of my cycle; headache will stay till cycle starts, augh. On the other hand, my digestion has become rational again! So my cycle cannot start soon enough.
Have finished reading the delightful Ms. Vanderbilt's memoir, and chuckled roundly every time I remembered that this was the book she asked her darling youngest son to review - and oh, the embarrassment that rang through every word of the article he wrote to detail the experience! Ms. Vanderbilt never descends into the realm of lurid tell-all, she's got too much class for that. And besides, it's more fun to fill in the blanks. But what she does say will definitely bring a smile or two. She's a wonderful woman - I have all sorts of respect for anyone who went through all that she did and not turn into a hateful old prune.
Will write more tomorrow, if I don't feel like sleeping things off first. Am not even sure why I want to still be up!
