::yawn:: Should be in bed.
But I'm feeling full and bloated. Besides, I had a nap this afternoon, so I'm good for another few hours yet.
Got a call early this morning from the cemetery caretaker, so my plans for a peaceful and leisurely morning went pfft. Just as well, or Ramon and I would have been in Glorietta when the silly Seafood Seafood Market had a short circuit leading to fire (quickly controlled) and smoke. After breakfast, parents and I whizzed down to Manila North - green lights were all in our favor! - and paid the caretaker the balance for the paint job we talked about last week.
Mall of Asia next. Not because we were steering clear of Glorietta, really, but more of it was the nearest mall on the way back home. Besides, I could pay my credit card bill there. Got there in no time flat, steered parents to Mann Hann and we made a good lunch of it at the sister resto that serves Western/Filipino cuisine. I had lengua and ordered baked oysters for everyone to share. Mixed toppings of cheese, tomato, basil, and garlic plus baked oysters = yum, yum, yum! ::grin::
Walked off lunch at the SM Department Store, where Ma bought herself a couple of cute blouses and both of us went gaga in the dusters/sleepwear section. Dad got himself some new undershirts and except for the part where he couldn't find us - thus giving Ma and I an excuse to chill out at Gloria Jean's - all went well.
Got home, changed out of my travel clothes, cuddled hubby and then proceeded to bond with the marital bed. Which effectively shut me down completely for two hours. Ordered pizza from Shakey's for dinner, and now here I am, replete to bursting and loving on The Daily Show:Global Edition, because it's the replay of Stephen Colbert guesting.
A good day. Checked out feeds and mail, which are now handled by Thunderbird, updated software, and not really sure if I will plow through LJ_Friends. More than likely I'll get some shut-eye after TDS.
Catch you when I catch you!
