I had a title for this entry, but I lost it
Quiet Saturday. Ran Dad's laundry through the machine, as well as the linens and pillowcases of the day bed. Christmas is a coming, time to change the color scheme one more time before the holidays get started. Will be charging through most things with more spirit than ability, but as long as something gets done, yeah?
What else. Burned off lots of files from the DVR. This is a good thing. Have been falling in love with the coverage of the World Rugby Cup - it hits my funny bone to see Michael Ware having such a good time, former rugby player as he is. All the other rugby fans among the anchors are showing their true colors as well - Michael Holmes trying to explain to Colleen McEdwards the fascination of the sport; Hugh Rimington trading wits with Shakuntala Santhiran and Kristie Lu Stout; Owen Thomas, Adrian Finnegan, Don Riddell (who is now tripping over his own name, hee), and Terry Baddoo all have stars in their eyes. Fun!
Finished a book. Granted, it's not the most challenging book on the shelf: The World's Greatest Hollywood Scandals, is the title. However, it was something that wasn't online, and a real page-turner, at that. Am all set to start the companion volume, The World's Greatest Royal Scandals, which shouldn't take all that long to visit.
Hmmm. The Ajinomoto ad has someone doing qi gong moves, and now the Propel water ad has a whole class doing qi gong on a raft that looks like its sitting smack bang in the middle of the Villa Escudero river. Getting to be quite the trend, apparently. I like doing it...the slow stretches seem to be doing me more good than any amount of aerobics ever did. Must look up one or two more tai chi videos so that I can continue after the free classes here at the village have stopped.
This afternoon I bustled about while the parents were in church. Dropped off Ma's skirts at Alterations Plus, for pickup on Tuesday. Bought her vitamin A supplements and Ramon's Glubitor at Mercury Drug. Did some groceries at Rustan's, had a venti cranberry juice with a whole-wheat croissant. Then a quick dash to PriceSmart for some more stuff - and I come home to find a freshly-prepared grocery list. Oye. Anyway, I'm going out tomorrow, so no problem there.
Ordered dinner in from Amber's, and there were no leftovers. ::grin:: All I want to do now is finish burning off the last of the old files, and then I can flop into bed. The weather is turning, slowly but surely, and things seem quite all right with the world. A day of grace, indeed!

The expats and those families in the village participating in the trick-or-treat have decor up, though. Am planning to cruise around and take pictures.
However, once November kicks in, I will have the maids bring down the decor and see what I can do about things this year. ::grin::
