I is got paper cut.
It's a wee thing, but it's right across the pad of my middle finger, which is a hellaciously inconvenient place for it to be. ::pout:: I had to put a band-aid on it when Ma and I got home, to keep it clean and to provide a cushion for it against all the surfaces it manages to find on its own.
Ma and I went banking today. Picked up a check at one bank, deposited it in another bank. Then to Glorietta, where we had brunch at Jollibee before heading for Ma's hair salon. She got a haircut and a foot spa; I got a hair spa and a foot spa, and yes, a scalp massage really hit the spot.
I managed to tap in some extra paragraphs in a little drabble that's part of the AU I seem to have created. That was fun, being able to get the general idea down before it left me. I had my ChiPod with me, therefore had fun looking through the videos I'd loaded onto it, while waiting for the hair conditioner to do its work.
Watch batteries were changed, then we returned home. The menfolk managed not to turn the house upside down in our absence, and all was well.
Spent the remainder of the afternoon looking up user reviews for DVD recorders. Read all sorts of pros and cons for a variety of models, and now my head is fussing. Hopefully, I'll not only get a nice unit, but one that works well. After all, I'm not going to spending peanuts for it, and now I'm questioning the wisdom of my decision. Gah! Hopefully a good night's sleep will sort things out for me.
Hubby and I have resumed testing his blood glucose levels, after consistently forgetting to do so all September. Not to mention most of August as well. We've gone back to our old schedule of taking his fasting blood sugar and two hours past dinner, and we should do rather well with it.
Am feeling lazy about catching up with the LJ_Friends, but if I don't, all the unread posts will breed. ::nods:: Yup, they will! So I'll be getting back to LJ-Land now. More news tomorrow!
