Whoa, a full month of blog entries, woot!

That's a nice thing to realize, isn't it? Tomorrow I close the chapter on September 2007 and set my sights on October. Ew. Time to clear out the spam mail account. ::looks around at the papers needing to be filed and makes mental note to start on it soonest::

My AC360 fix was had in bits and pieces, and was highly unsatisfying as a result. I would have done better to have just skipped it altogether and waited for the podcast. The reason I saw it in chop-chop mode was because I had to take my parents to the opthalmologist for their refraction tests; and such a shameless hussy am I for Anderson Cooper, that I asked - and got - permission to change the TV channel to CNN just to see what I could see. ::dies:: No shame, definitely.

However, I did get to finally catch "Narco State", the CNN Special Investigation report filed by Anderson, so that made up for the lackluster effect of AC360.

Ramon felt a bit weird about the tummy this morning, but he's better now. ::is grateful:: Currently he's watching The Sea Wolves in the bedroom.

Maintenance crew came today to fix the light in the grotto and re-install the wheel on our bed. I honestly wish we had a bigger room. It would be just perfect if Ramon and I could have the guest bedroom to sleep in, and just use our current bedroom for dressing up, computer work and reading. Maybe some day?

::glances at clock:: This is the replay blocktime for all the features on CNN. So far I've seen World's Untold Stories and this is the third go-round for International Correspondents, I think. Narco State should be popping up in an hour or two, at least. So I have time to wash up and change channels.

Ordered lunch in from SuperBowl, and it was all sorts of good stuff. Cooked half a chicken, potatoes, carrots, two cloves of garlic and half an onion in the slow cooker, and that was all sorts of good, too. Did I mention to anyone that we need a new turbo broiler? Well, we do - only now I'm waffling between a turbo broiler or a convection oven (like a microwave, only it will brown meats).

There is a perishing need to buy charcoal, as my dad is craving for grilled milkfish. @__@ Tomorrow, we have to drop by the market and buy some.

Cobbled together an "article" for a newsletter. Was given mere moments of notice with a deadline tomorrow - and oh, I have to take up less than a page, when the material is easily two columns long. Oye. As long as I submitted the thing, though, I'm okay. Let the editors tear out their hair doing the copyfitting. ::chuckle::

And that, basically, was the day - mostly rainy, and therefore conducive to napping, which I did. We have a new church schedule - the parents go on Saturday afternoons, I take hubby and the maids on Sunday; and much satisfaction is had by all.
