Just the bullet points tonight
Am tired - but in a good way. Here's the basics:* First Qi Gong class today at the village pavilion. Made the acquaintance of one classmate. Will try to get to know another one on Thursday. There will be 20 sessions total, and am looking forward to this.* Ran Dad's laundry through the machine.* Morning coffee at Starbucks Petron, with corned beef pan de sal. Read an article about the new Chi Spa at the EDSA Shangri-La, and now would love to go. Preferably an overnight visit, with hubby, on December 18th (wedding anniversary).* Home, just in time to catch AC360. AC thankfully back in the anchor's chair, and even more thankfully, a choice of real news on the air, instead of the OJ drivel of the past few days. Ms. Erica looking a little peaked, though, poor sweet.* Nap after lunch. Nothing like bonding with your bed!* Set out for Park Square II to send off money for the maid via LBC. Discover elevator not working, oye! * Buy Sun SIM card for maid with leftover money...I do not feel for the sales staff at all, at all. If I am asking about your product, please don't talk patronisingly at me until I phrase my question in plummy English - at which point you turn into a lackey. Even worse, do not assume that just because I am female I am totally clueless about digital camera specifications, mmkay?* Go to Landmark for afternoon tea, refill Ramon's medicines, search for "Up Close and Personal". Movie is still out of stock, but saw The Gubernator's version of "Conan The Destroyer" (dear heavens), and a Michael Dudikoff movie. Gwah.* Forced the hand of the pharmacists in Mercury Drug re generic product. Was asked what brand of omeprazole I was using, and I said, give me the cheapest alternative between Nexium and Omepron. Pharmacist looks at me like I sprouted horns, looks a senior pharmacist, who tells him to give me AciPres, which is only Php18/tablet as opposed to Nexium which is about Php33/tablet. Gotcha!* Solved dysfunctional parking elevator problem by going through the bridgeway from Glorietta and climbing one flight of stairs. Later, Ramon said we should have just brazenly gone through Kimpura instead. ::loves on hubby::* Picked up laundry from Fabricare. Lady behind counter could not help me, as she was two months pregnant. Now I want to know why she was all alone in the laundromat? There are usually two of them there. ::shrug:: Anyway, I'm a big strong girl, hauling the laundry into the car was no problem for me. ::grin::* Got home, sorted myself out, had dinner, put away laundry. I now have Dubya in the background as he addresses the United Nations. Hugh Rimington's (CNN Hong Kong) suit was lovely - dark blue, with a matching tie, and his shirt had large squares outlined by pinstriping.* Reuters reporting that Aung Sang Suu Kyi has been moved from her home into a prison? Oh, that's not good at all, if true.Guess that will do for now. Halfway through catching up with LJ_Friends, will finish with that and go to sleep. Ciao, everyone!^__^
