Not As Manic A Monday
I managed, as everyone must have figured, to watch the Emmys. What I didn't mention is that the cat woke me up at 3.00AM, and, being unable to return to sleep, tried to see if the PGA Tour/FedEx Cup was on. Which it was, and in my mind, it was the best. golf. ever. Poor Ramon! He heard me squeeing over the killer shots, and got up to see what was going on. ::facepalms::
Shooed him back to bed, and continued enjoying myself till the final shot. ::grin::After the Emmys, lunch. Then brought parents to see the eye doctor. They have now been scheduled for their second cataract operations - on Thursday, September 20th. So I'll have my hands full, dropping them off at the OR, hustling Ramon to the lab for his fasting blood sugar extraction; getting the PhilHealth forms, paying for the extraction...oye! Will have to make do with the AC360 podcast to get my Anderson fix.In fact, I'm likely to live off AC360 podcasts this week...tomorrow I have to bring parents to the birthday celebration of one of their breakfast club members. The one who had the exhibit at the University of Makati. On Wednesday, Ma and I go to the bank to clear up some things, and withdraw money for the cataract operation. Thursday is "hustle the family to Makati Med" day. Friday is Ramon's montly checkup with Dr. Gatmaitan. Saturday is church afternoon with the parents.Ai-ya. Busy, busy me. ::shrug:: That's life. Some days are calm, some aren't. Will miss the live threads...BUT! Larry King Live will have Kathy Griffin on Monday, and maybe she'll pull another gag on Anderson during the :45 shoutout. ::grin:: That would be something to see, after her stunt last June. Of course, that part will be sliced from the CNN International delayed telecast, but that's what live threads are for - and maybe it will make the podcasts!Got to keep a clear head - it's PMS season, too! ::rolls eyes at self:: That's life, all right.Catch you when I catch you!^__^
