Highlight of the day: Ramon got his denture, and now can smile the way he always wanted to. Yay!

In other news - what in the world is going on underneath Sumatra, that it should get three major quakes in a 24-hour period? To everyone I know who felt the shaking and baking, please stay calm and safe. I'll be holding you in my thoughts tonight.

Backed up all 9-plus GB of my iTunes library. @__@ When I manage to get another external drive, I'll transfer all the current songs into it, and leave the data and podcast files on the current one. The price of the Iomega 80GB for PC/Mac has dropped at least Php3,000 from when I first bought this one, which makes it pretty affordable for the usage.

My AC360 fix this morning was a goodie. Michael Ware and AC standing in the same spot at the same time, analysing the Iraq situation = happy chair bouncing. Nic Robertson reporting out of Afghanistan = squee. Gary Tuchman reporting from Balad military hospital = all kinds of "awww...." especially after he told AC that the kids he featured in his report are all recovering well. Which was the good news - the bad news was that they would be going back to their homes in the insurgent-infested areas. Wah. AC in a suit, interviewing Al-Malliki = rapt fangirl viewing and near total lack of attention to the topic under discussion. Oye.

No naps this afternoon. Receipts were posted to the ledger cards, and papers are ready for filing. Will have to move them before the cat falls asleep on the filing boxes and looks too sweet to be disturbed.

Which takes care of a very ordinary day...and we are grateful.

Don't you want to get a larger external hard drive? I don't think the gap between a 80 GB HD is bigger than the 200 GB one.

Well, we'll see when Christmas rolls around. My iPod Mini only holds 6GB of music at any given moment, and so 80GB as a bodega should do me fine, seeing as how I burn off files to disc at regular intervals.

200GB is a lot of video podcasts, dagnabit. Such a temptation...::grin::
