Things are looking okay...

Ramon and I had a bad night, but eventually things calmed down and he was pretty good for most of the day. In fact, he was able to come out with me to the bone setter; even felt fit enough to help me find a place to get Dad's golf cart repaired.

We had merienda, and now his tummy is acting up again...no doubt because I forgot to bring his before-meals medicine with me. ::kicks self:: I do take comfort that the tummy is not as wretched as before, and if God and I have anything to say about it, it will not start acting like a diva on crack.

Ramon's cardio took another look at his charts and said the gastritis is basically just that. No urgent need to get that ultrasound (thank you, God!) after all, we're to follow the medication schedule set up by the ER attending, and come in as scheduled. So keep on with the prayers, people - the medicine has to set its hooks into this thing and kick it out of my hubby's system within the next five days. ::nods::

My anxiety levels have dropped, as well, now that the doctor's opinion is in. Later I have to make Ramon drink his Motilium and Nexium, then let him rest as best he can. ::pats hubby:: He's so frustrated with himself and all these things that are happening!

Ah, well. Five more days, and now that we know what sets his tummy off, we can figure out how to avoid the triggers. It's been a good day, and I am very, very thankful.

I'm glad he's better and that it wasn't something more serious. *HUGS*

I am so glad Ramon is doing better. I know how bad abdominal things can be, and so tricky to diagnose, and I can't even being to imagine what it must be like to have to think about paying for the procedures too. Both of you remain in my prayers.
