A Bright, Sunshiny Day
Am tired, but happy. Summary of the day:
Ramon's check-up went well, with additional advice from the doctor and a minor tweak in one of the medicines. Actually found a parking space within a hair's breadth of the back door, which was really cool.
Went to visit best friend one floor up, and ended up having lunch with her, poor sweet. Caught up, heard new horror stories, and tried to cheer her up. Hopefully, succeeded.
Upgraded wardrobe! Semi-retiring blue denim pants for proper slacks. Have four new pairs. ::nods::
Bought some groceries, and refilled one of Ramon's prescriptions.
Heavy afternoon tea at McDonald's.
Then home, to put away laundry, re-arrange my clothes filing system, and become quite absorbed in CNN's coverage of Hurricane Dean. Heavens, what a monster it looks in the satellite photos. And the wind speed! ::shudders:: Hope and pray that it keeps moving till it blows itself out, which had better happen soon. Folks on the oil rigs are getting justifiably nervous, and I hope they all get off the rigs in time.
Now feeling totally lazy. Internet speed is slow, maybe because of the Intensity 3.4 quake we had sometime this morning. Never noticed it, though.
Will try and catch up with the LJ_Friends, but count on being forsaken the moment Jon Stewart's show appears on The Comedy Channel.
