Laundry day again! Lots and LOTS of laundry - managed to stuff two hampers to the brim yet again, what with all the changes I made while doing the general cleaning. While the loads were running, I wrote a triumphant <i>finis</i> to the storage of all the boxes and papers from The General Clean-up of 2007. Even my Barbie doll (my first, and a cherished gift from my best friend) got a much-needed shampoo and comb-out, slept in the nude (!!) while her clothes got a good washing-up as well. ::huge grin::

Gracious, the *dirt* in the poor dollie's hair! I haven't got a proper name for her yet, but I have made plans to update her wardrobe this Christmas. Because every doll needs something to wear over the holidays! ::grin:: And after the holidays as well. Right now, she's back in her clothes, with her hair freshly combed. This has had the effect of softening the tight waves into something that looks more natural.

Mang Miguel called up to ask if he could come in tomorrow, and of course we said yes. We certainly weren't expecting him to come in at the height of the typhoon, heavens!

Popped off to the grocery at Rustan's, to pick up some sponges for the kitchen, and then off to visit Santi's for some cold cuts and forest ham. (Yum!) Last stop was Le Coeur de France for a loaf of whole wheat bread, then home to a blissfully non-thinking state until bed. Am still feeling like someone heavy has been sitting on top of my head, but the results were worth it!
