Recap - August 4, 2007
::bounces happily::
The new filing system is in place! And it looks like it's going to work for a very, very long time with very little maintenance. This is a good thing! ::bounce::
Brought the new maids to the orientation seminar that the Village holds for the new househelp and drivers. Dropped them off at 8.15AM, since the seminar started at 8.30AM, and picked them up at 12.00NN. They seemed to have a good time, and hopefully they will work out. They seem to be showing enough initiative to get things cleaned up and out, so that's a good sign.
The census folks delivered the forms that need to be filled up - in pencil, mind you. Just like the old Standford IQ exams that I used to take as a wee grade schooler in IS. (In my first year, it was still The American School - it changed name when I was around fifth grade, I think.)
From there, the day quite normally - a quiet afternoon spent getting dusty and clearing out stuff from the office, then a quick shower in order to be presentable for Mass. Afterwards, a quick trip to S&R, where we had dinner (hooray, cheeseburger!) and then back home.
Decided to give myself the rest of the time off from housework, since I was feeling righteous about all I've managed to accomplish. Not to mention I didn't fancy getting dusty all over again, while playing online tag and before going to sleep.
::nods with satisfaction:: Gotta love it when a plan comes together!
