Talking to myself

It's nearly lunch time, and as far as the morning is concerned, the following have been done:
- breakfast and bath
- mail check
- feeds check
- LJ_Friends check
- follow-up call to WOMFI Secretariat re official receipt
- revise pricing on items for sale on eBay

Not a bad start to the day. ::is pleased:: Now that I've got some free time of sorts, I think I'll ramble on to myself for a little and see how I want the afternoon to go. According to my Palm's To-Do list, I can choose from any of the following:

- August Kampana article (GAH! IT'S DUE TODAY!)
- Update the Multiply account (resize pics with CocoView and upload)
- Continue 1984 travel diary (edit travel notes)
- Create a blog for Ramon's newsletters/commentaries
- Edit photos for cafepress.com products (microstore project)
- Post to Wordpress journal (Lapsus Memoriae)
- Knitting, teach self basic stitches
- Crochet, choose a project

The Kampana article now a given, must get started on that first. I need at least two other tasks that must be completed before midnight tonight. The travel diary qualifies as a project, in that I'm posting one day at any given moment; looking at things now, the first three things on the list will do quite nicely as my "big rocks" for today.

Off to research the article now.

O.o ... wow. I mean... can you seriously remember that far back? Whatever vitamins youre taking I'm seriously in need of some!

Not to mention I'd like to know how you get so much energy! My days usually go:

. wake up
.feed kid and bathe kid
.sit and watch kid play and take a few pictures
.make kid take nap and then heat something to eat
.get kid out of crib and watch him play
.feed kid before putting him to bed
.take shower sleep

repeat.

seriously if i didnt have a kid... i'd be doing nothing!

Considering the depth of those notes, there's hardly any effort in trying to remember what happened - it was my first big trip abroad, and I wouldn't go to sleep until I'd finished writing out the day's events in detail!

Now that I'm a bit of a seasoned traveler, I do bullet points. But a whole lot of bullet points, so it's nearly the same...

As for the energy...well, most of the items on that list have been pending since I first wrote them down (seems like ages ago!); it's a huge relief to actually get down to moving them.
