While I'm not *too* distracted here
Another blessed, simple day, after all the excitement we've been through with Mocha. Poor little baby is still recovering from the trauma of being lost without food or sleep for two days - considering how much of a princeling he is in this house, it must have been awful for him to be so far away from home. But he's back, and eating well and allowing himself to be cuddled and loved back to his usual self.
Ramon and I went to Greenbelt today, to pick up my Healthy Options discount card and refill his prescriptions. I finally got to set eyes on the Nokia E61i that caught my attention the other day, and it looks even sweeter in real life. I also set the over-eager salesman back on his heels by going into "drawly foreigner" mode when he adopted a patronizing tone while talking about the benefits of his product. It's Php22K...tempting. But I do intend to wait for the Christmas sales before contemplating its purchase.
Lunch was had at Pho Hoa, where we haven't eaten for a long while. A big bowl of beef pho split two ways, with crispy squid and fried vegetable spring rolls went a long way to filling us up. Then off to Mercury Drug to buy the medicines, and back into the mall to visit the ATM, with a side trip to the music/video store - Ramon is now enjoying his new copy of a Van Damme movie called Second Command or something like that.
Came home shortly after, and I sank into another nap to end all naps, waking up at five in the afternoon. Went online, and added some new toys to the iBook. I'm now using a browser that I'm sure very few people in my immediate vicinity have heard of: Shiira. It's a pretty thing to look at, and easy to use.
Then thanks to the wonders of newsfeeds, I discovered DivX is offering a free download of DivX Pro - a limited time offer, so anyone who's interested, go get it while it lasts! It's nice to have a the DivX converter to hand at last, and for free and legal, too. There's a Mac version available, too, for those interested..
Ah, the joys of PMS. ::wrinkles nose:: My brains went on vacation and I feel totally befuddled. I'm bloated, my tummy is peckish, and I am feeling my age. Still, this too will pass, for which God be thanked. ::grin:: It just occurred to me, though, that the funny feeling in my tummy might be the non-fat milk I've been drinking the past two days. Gas, is what it is, and I need a good long burp (or the TMI version of expelling gas via one's butt).
Ohhhh...AXN has the Thomas Crown Affair on, and Pierce Brosnan has just swept Rene Russo off to his island hideout. Mmmm, the convenience of money - putting aside the dubious way that Brosnan's character made his - does make for a pretty picture.
I think I'll close here and keep on watching the movie. ::grin::

Thanks for the link to the DivX Pro download, by the way. Getting it right now, just in case.
